Target Dust Treatment for Insect Control is a ready-to-use dust treatment for the control of Cockroaches, Ants, Fleas, Silverfish, Bedbugs, Mushroom flies, Potato Moths, Hide Beetles & European Wasps in various situations.

Target Dust Treatment contains Permethrin which provides control of insect pests by penetrating deep into inaccessible voids to provide long term protection. Application is recommended by electric powered blowers (large voids) or hand dusters (small voids, crack, crevices, behind cupboards etc). Control of the dust output in restricted areas is vital.

Target is also useful in controlling fleas in carpets. Simply brush the Dust directly into the pile of the carpet. Do not vacuum or clean the carpet for at least 2 days to ensure the Target permethrin dust is not wasted. Always treat areas such as under the house where larvae may develop. Remember for best results treat any pets and their bedding and sleeping areas with an approved flea product.

Permethrin is a common synthetic chemical, widely used as an insecticide, and insect repellent. It belongs to the family of synthetic chemicals called pyrethroids and functions as a neurotoxin, affecting neuron membranes by prolonging sodium channel activation.

Target Dust Treatment for Insect Control is not registered for the control of ticks. Target Dust Treatment is easily applied with either a 'powder blower' or a 'hand duster'. The general application rate over an area is 10grms per square metre (10kg would cover an area of up to 1000 square metres). Safety directions advise avoiding contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhaling the dust. When using the product, wear rubber gloves and wash your hands after use. After application and where appropriate, the powder should be left undisturbed for as long as possible and can be reapplied when necessary.

Tips For Use

General Instructions:

Target Dust Treatment for Insect Control is a non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action, having a slight repellent effect.
Where the use of a powder blower is specified the equipment should be clean and free from any other insecticide residue.
After use the blower should be cleaned thoroughly.
This product is supplied ready to use and no further dilution is required and it should not be mixed with any other insecticide.
After application and where appropriate the powder should be left undisturbed for as long as possible.

Storage:

Store in the closed, original container in a dry, well-ventilated Area as Cool as Possible but out of direct sunlight away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs and fertilizers.

Safety Directions:

Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Avoid inhaling the dust.
When using the product wear rubber gloves.
Wash hands after use.
